Hot Rod

Wednesday, we’re talking about the great Hot Rod Hundley. Jazz fans know the cry of “You gotta love it, baby,” but Hundley was a more complicated figure than you might guess from his vocal acrobatics.

Wednesday, we’re talking about the great Hot Rod Hundley, the long-time play-by-play man of the Utah Jazz. It was his voice that we thrilled to in the Stockton and Malone days. A new documentary tells the story of Hundley’s exploits and gifts as a broadcaster and player, but it’s also really personal and incredibly honest. Hundley was amazing with the microphone, but not so great as a father or husband. Director Dan Lohmann joins us to talk about his film, Hot Rod.

Dan Lohmann is a founding member of PikewoodCreative and director of their film Hot RodIt's airing on AT&TSportsNet Rocky Mountain throughout the year. You can catch it Sunday, April 15 and Sunday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m.
